Medication Reminder Support for Safety and Daily Routine
Shielded Care provides medication reminder support (non-medical) to help seniors and adults maintain consistent medication routines while safely remaining independent at home. Our caregivers offer timely verbal reminders and schedule support to encourage clients to take medications as prescribed by their healthcare provider.
This service is designed to support daily structure and independence by helping clients remember their established medication schedules as part of ongoing in-home care.

Medication reminder support is often provided alongside services such as Meal Preparation, Companion Care, and Personal Care Assistance to support safe aging in place.

Shielded Care provides non-medical home care services only. Caregivers do not administer medications, prepare dosages, modify prescriptions, or provide medical advice.

All medications must be self-administered by the client or managed by a licensed healthcare professional. Caregiver responsibilities are limited to reminders and supportive observation in accordance with California home care regulations.
